Getting Started

Before enrolling for the first time in a SWIC math course, students must take a  placement test or submit a transcript indicating successful completion of a college-level mathematics course.

A grade of "C" or better is needed to advance to the next higher math course. Use of the appropriate calculator, as recommended by the instructor, is required in classes at or above the 100 level.

Most degree programs and many certificate programs require math courses.
