The Cisco Networking Academy is a partnership between Cisco Systems, education, business, government, and community organizations around the world. The Networking Academy curriculum centers on teaching students to design, build, and maintain computer networks. The courses include online curriculum, classroom instruction, hands-on labs, interactive tools and performance tracking capabilities.
Each of our Cisco labs is configured with routers, switches and other networking devices which students use for hands-on lab activities. Lab activities are based on configuring these devices to work within a given lab scenario. These hands-on labs emphasize Cisco equipment command knowledge and network troubleshooting skills.
The Cisco classroom at the Red Bud campus has student workstations and an overhead LCD projector with SMART-board technology for theory-based instruction. The adjoining lab is equipped with Cisco 2600 series routers and Catalyst 2950T series switches. These two rooms are used to teach the CCNA courses at the Red Bud Campus.
