Career Connections for Job Seekers

Tips for using this site:

  • Use Internet Explorer
  • You cannot edit your resume within the system; edit your resume in Word and then copy/paste or upload your file (.rtf or .txt formats work best)
  • Please note that you cannot use the e-mail function of Career Connections

If you are a first time user, here's how to register:

  1. Make an appointment for resume assistance (if necessary)
  2. Make an appointment to attend one of the Career Connections workshops. In this workshop you will receive your password and directions on using the system. Bring 2 copies of your resume to the workshop. You must bring a disk or flash drive with your resume in one of the following formats:
    1. Rich Text (.rtf, PREFERRED)
    2. Plain Text (.txt)
    3. Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
    4. Our system currently does not accept Microsoft Works or WordPerfect formats
  3. You must also have an email address. There are several free email services available on the internet.

Upon completion of the workshop, you will be registered in the system and will be able to log on to the system from any computer that has Internet access.

Your Career Connections Profile:

  1. After three months, you will receive an email with instructions to complete and return the Career Connections Survey to remain active in the system
  2. If you do not return the survey within that month, your profile will be deleted and you will not be able to access Career Connections
  3. If you would like to have your profile reactivated, complete and return the survey as described on the Forms page
  4. To make sure you recieve this email, please:
    1. Make sure the email address in your Career Connections profile is correct
    2. Check your Spam/Junk folder on occasion
