| The Early School Leaver Program is a cooperative education
program designed to provide valuable worksite learning experiences for
16 to 21 year old non-high school completers.
Students who qualify for the program will work part-time in the
community in a job related to their areas of interest and ability.
The program helps students earn their GED certificates, explore
career interest information, find employment, and encourages them to
enroll in the Adult Education Department’s free computer classes or
other classes offered by the Department.
Another major goal of the Early School Leaver Program is to assist
students in continuing their education at Southwestern Illinois College
(SWIC) or other institutions of higher learning. |
